Biogas and LFG are well suited for CHP and power generation applications. However, the economic efficiency of the plant operating on biogas depends on the gas fuel quality and consistency. It is important to remove or to reduce unwanted substances like H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide), Siloxanes and Methyl Siloxane Components, NH3 (Ammonia), and excessive Moisture.
2G Biogas Treatment & Monitoring Systems are designed to improve the gas quality by applying highly cost-effective technologies. Advanced cooling / drying & dehumidification systems, as well as filter technologies proactively treat the biogas to produce a high quality fuel.
Our experts have the proficiency to implement the most advanced technology into cogeneration power plant facilities, always considering the actual gas composition available. This assures that the entire gas treatment technology required is an integral part of our CHP modules.
- Biogas Desulfurization systems
- Biogas Carbon Filter System to reduce H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide)
- Biogas Carbon Filter System to reduce VSC (Volatile Siloxane Compounds)
- Biogas Dryer & Cooling System (Dehumidification)
Hydrogen sulphide is available in all kind of different types of gas and exhaust air flows, just like biogas, sewer gas and dump gas. The corrosive and harmful to environment properties of hydrogen sulphide are reasons to remove out of gas-flows.
The biological procedure by TS is especially suitable for remove hydrogen sulphide in reason of:
- effective
- selective for H2S
- low operating costs
- low maintenance expenses
- completly automatized
- every plant is designed for a specific case of need
- transforming the hydrogen suphide in non-polluting products
The Quality requirement of VDI guideline 3478 is the foundation for our desulphurization plants.
Material
- Polypropylen (PP)
- Plastic reinforced by glas fiber (FRP)
Application
Some applications are:
- local and/or industrial sewage plant
- chemical industrie
- paper industrie
- dumps
- food industrie
- agriculture
- biogas plants
Biogas H2S filter systems are used to reduce the content of Hydrogen Sulfide in raw biogas providing a cleaner and less corrosive gas for engine combustion. Regenerated carbon filter systems are also helping to reduce certain Siloxane content. The carbon filter system is generally more cost-effective for biogas applications. The gas is first dehumidified by passing it through the dryer & cooler, and thereafter to the carbon filter.
Inlet gas is initially cooled by passing it through an advanced counter flow heat exchanger, and an air cooled liquid chiller to further reduce the gas temperature. Using the outlet gas to cool the inlet gas increases the system efficiency. A gas pre-heating system (thermal after-treatment technology) elevates the temperature to ideal combustion condition. There is no need for external hot water to reheat the Gas. The compact skid-mounted design minimizes installation costs and is also suitable for "all weather" outdoor location.
Gas analysis with AWIECO and AWIFLEX
The comprehensive process control that is based on our gas analysis systems AwiECO and AwiFLEX ensures smooth operation and last, but not least economic efficiency of your plant on a permanent basis.
The more accurate and continuous the measurements, the more they prove to be a cost and time-saving factor.
YOU WANT MORE?
Small control tasks can be managed by AwiECO and AwiFLEX. For more complex solutions with requirements for automation we have developed AwiCONTROL.
The g-box is suitable for commercial buildings or entire housing complexes with heating consumption of at least 120,000 kWh or at least 12,000 litres of heating oil a year. Typical areas of use are:
